Uttarakhand is the area of the northern region. This place is also said to be as “Dev-bhumi” or you can say Land of Gods. Apart from this, Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati were married in Uttarakhand’s place named Trijugi-Narayan.

Rishikesh-Uttarakhand

This town in Uttarakhand popular for Hindus from ancient time. Many people throughout the year come and take a holy dip in the Ganges. Almora- Uttarakhand

In the Kumaon Region of the Uttarakhand state,  Almora district was established by Chand dynasty in 1568 and further developed by the British government in 1816. Famous people like Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindra Nath Tagore, and APJ Abdul Kalam had visited the town.

Adventurous and religious activities are provided by KMVN. The first half of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra during Yatra time.  Home of many known celebrities provides a vast range of good education and religious knowledge.

    I really love India and especially Uttarakhand. I am from Nepal hence so many cultures of Uttarakhand is similar with me. especially in far west Darchula and Dhurchala have a similar culture. They are special pahadi and extreme to Hinduism. There are some many holy places in Uttarakhand like Badrinath, Kedarnath, Haridwar, Etc. These pilgrimages have equally important with hinduism.
    I have all heard these on media but I only traveled Haridwar and rest of these travel site are on my plan . Many thanks for the wonderful blog about Uttarakhand and help to promote tourism industry of Uttarakhand
